The 1^st poem reminds me of how I may have felt towards a boyfriend in the beginning of the relationship. I love the line “but where’s the harm in truth,” because I feel honesty is a good thing because they’re more harm in lying to someone. The end of the first poem shows how she is trying to explain her feelings to someone and they probably don’t understand. The 2^nd poem seems to be a continuation of the 1^st poem because the speaker is still trying to get this person to see her and understand things. The 2^nd poem has a good, strong closing line because it ties everything up and closes the poem on a strong note.
